DUCAB opened their doors 37 years ago and they’ve grown to be one of the leading manufacturers of energy cables in the Middle East. Their goal is to be the first choice partner for their customer’s cable requirements, thus delivering the best value in the industry.
Andrew Shaw joined DUCAB as its MD in 2007, and since then the employees became part of his extended family. As a form of his appreciation to their continuous efforts, the 37th anniversary included giving away prizes and awards to the employees who hit milestones with DUCAB.
May was up to the challenge: she knew what to say and how to keep people amused. She was able to alternate between humbleness, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
Shaw saw that the celebration of these great employees shouldn’t be done behind closed doors, so a ceremony was held on DUCAB’s 37th Anniversary; the awards were distributed in the presence of 1500 attendees including the families of the celebrated employees.
May Ali hosted this ceremony and was a source of enthusiasm for the whole room. She handed the 91 awards of appreciation that were distributed. The night was long and a lot of talking had to take place, but May was up to the challenge: she knew what to say and how to keep people amused. She was able to alternate between humbleness, enthusiasm, and professionalism. From introducing the face of DUCAB to introducing Dubai’s famous illusionist “Moein Al Bastaki” and the comedian “Ali Al Sayed”, May Ali captivated the audience with her infatuating stage presence.
